Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation will inaugurate the football pitch at the Polideportivo Municipal Jaume Ortí in Aldaia this Wednesday
The joint project allows children to resume sporting activity
The football pitch at the Jaume Ortí Municipal Sports Centre in Aldaia has reopened after being renovated, thanks to the collaboration of Valencia CF — through the VCF Foundation —, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Divina Seguros, and the donations made to the 'FILA CERO SOLIDARIA' initiative.
The 750 boys and girls from UD Aldaia's 43 teams can now once again enjoy the sports facility, which was devastated by the terrible flood that struck numerous towns in the Valencia region. This represents another step in the return to normal physical, social, and educational activities, allowing for the physical and emotional development of the young footballers in areas affected by the DANA tragedy.
The reconstruction of the football pitches also highlights the collaborative spirit of the VCF Academy's "Escoles VCF" project. Through it, the 43 participating schools not only benefit from the methodology, talent, and training of a globally recognised club, but it also serves to strengthen ties and relationships between clubs, with Valencia CF as the catalyst.
Valencia CF's official insurer, Divina Seguros, joined the club's charity initiative—'UNITS COM SEMPRE'—. In addition, Divina Seguros offered, free of charge, private health coverage for both accidents and illnesses to more than a thousand children from football schools affected by the DANA.
Likewise, this Valencian company will deliver, together with Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation, a musical instrument to the 'Unió Musical d'Aldaia' and the 'Banda Sinfónica d'Aldaia' - bands affected by the flood.
LALIGA EA SPORTS' collaboration in the restoration is part of the FC FUTURES project, which seeks to ensure easy, high-quality access to football for children and young people around the world. As part of this project, balls and sports equipment have also been donated to affected schools in the area.
