‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
‘El Valencia CF visita tu cole’ (‘Valencia CF visits your school’) has started a new season in which the Club, through the Fan Area and with the collaboration of the players from the Valencia CF Academy, aims to promote valencianismo among the youngest fans.
This season, 12 schools in the province of Valencia will receive the visit of the mascot “Amunt” and the players of the VCF Academy who, together with the Psychology Department, explain to the students what it means to be a player of Valencia CF and VCF Femenino and the values of the VCF Academy Philosophy: Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor (Feeling, Courage and Brotherhood).
CEIP Juan XXIII in Torrent has been the first school to receive ‘Valencia CF visits your school’ in a season in which the Club will be present in 12 schools, with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods last year.
VCF Femenino B players Marina Morant and Julià Catalán, and Iván Boria (VCF Cadete A) and Pablo Jiménez (FVCF Cadete) shared a morning with the students in the playground of CEIP Juan XXIII in Torrent, whose access areas and the bridge that connects the school with the town in l’Horta Sud were seriously affected. As of today, the bridge is still pending reconstruction and the school uses buses in order to make an alternative route so that students can remain in class.
Stop Bullying
‘Valencia CF visits your school’ reinforces the presence of Valencia CF and the positive values that sport can transmit, also highlighting campaigns such as ‘Stop Bullying. Tots a una veu’, which Valencia CF promoted and on which LaLiga has recently produced a special feature.
