Valencia CF pay tribute to season ticket holders with over 50 years of loyalty at Mestalla

The club presented a commemorative pin to 29 lifelong fans in recognition of their unwavering dedication to Valencia CF.
This May, Valencia CF honoured their most loyal season ticket holders, recognising fans who have supported the club for more than 50 consecutive years. Mestalla served as the setting for one of the most heartfelt events on the Valencia CF calendar: a tribute to those who have been faithful season ticket holders for over half a century.
“Since 1957, the year electric floodlights were installed at the stadium, I’ve been coming here. It's been almost 70 years -it’s like my second home. The love and emotion we feel for this club never fades. My grandchildren, my daughters -they’re all Valencia CF fans. This event was a lovely gesture, something truly appreciated. That’s what Valencia CF is: something you carry inside, something that moves you, something you feel -pure passion,” shared Alberto Marí, a fan with over 50 years of continuous support.
The tribute was attended by Team Manager Voro González, Valencia CF ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo, and Miguel Ángel Bossio, and José Manuel Sempere, Vice President of the VCF Footballers Association.
“I haven’t missed a single season. I had membership number 7 as a Valencia CF junior fan. When I turned 14, I became a full member, and since then, my daughters and two grandsons have joined me. They’re 100% Valencia fans, just like me,” said Ramón Vivó, another lifelong supporter.
All 29 honoured fans received a commemorative pin symbolising their loyalty and love for Valencia CF.
