Valencia CF head into their third pre-season fixture after taking part in a training match against Derby County FC and suffering a defeat to CD Castellón. The Valencian side will continue their preparations for the upcoming LALIGA EA SPORTS season and will be aiming to claim victory at the Bet365 Stadium.
Stoke City FC, meanwhile, come into the game after defeating Everton FC, drawing with Crewe Alexandra FC, and losing to SC Braga. The English side will compete in the Championship this season.
The two clubs have faced each other on three previous occasions: twice in the UEFA Europa League (Round of 32, 2012) and once in a friendly match (2004).
