Valencia CF welcome the women’s K4-500 world champions
The Valencian canoeist attended the match against RCD Mallorca at Mestalla
Valencia CF welcomed the visit of Valencian canoeist Bárbara Pardo.
Bárbara was crowned world champion last August in Milan, a landmark achievement for Spanish sport, as it marked the first time a women’s crew has won the title in the K4-500 discipline. The paddler from Antella (Valencia) completed a remarkable treble after also claiming gold at the Hungary World Cup and silver at the European Championships in the Czech Republic.
Club legends and ambassadors Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio welcomed the athlete and presented her with a personalised jersey bearing her name.
