Career at Valencia CF
A young Aimar arrived at the Club in January 2001 after his time with the Argentine giants River Plate, making his official debut on February 14, 2001 in a Champions League match against Manchester United at the Camp de Mestalla. Despite his youth, the Argentine footballer dazzled with his creativity, skill, and talent on the pitch. In fact, he became a regular in Héctor Cúper’s starting line-ups, even playing in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
