The Valencianista legend speaks on l’Informatiu of VCF Media Radio about the upcoming derby at Mestalla
Valencia CF will play this Friday, November 21 at 9:00 p.m., at the Camp de Mestalla, the Matchday 13 fixture of LALIGA EA SPORTS 25–26 against Levante UD.
Another player who wore both shirts was David Navarro. The Valencianista legend was on l’Informatiu of VCF Media Radio to talk about the city derby.
“Every derby is special. Your heart rate is higher than in any other match—you always have an extra boost. There’s a lot of rivalry, and given how both teams are arriving now, there’s a lot of parity, which didn’t exist before. It will be experienced even more intensely. I remember the derbies at the Camp de Mestalla with the fans. They’re always beautiful matches to play. Away, at the Ciutat de València, I only played once. That year Levante UD was relegated, and it was a pity.”
“It’s going to be a very evenly matched game. Valencia CF, at home, must take the initiative in the play and win in front of their fans. Valencia CF and Levante UD are very close in the standings. Hopefully we get to experience many more derbies.”
“Valencia CF needs the victory, and that extra boost of confidence you get from winning a derby gives you an additional lift and clears your head to look further ahead to the upcoming matches.”
“The fans never fail; they push hard. Valencia CF has to take advantage of that.”
“It was the most complete performance so far this season. Valencia CF deserved to win.”
