CORBERÁN, MAMARDASHVILI AND TÁRREGA UP FOR APRIL AWARDS
The trio are shortlisted for LaLiga prize voting
Valencia CF coach Carlos Corberán, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, and defender César Tárrega are among the nominees for the monthly LALIGA awards for April.
Corberán is shortlisted for Best Coach, as the team have achieved two important victories against Real Madrid CF and Sevilla FC and gone six games unbeaten.
In this vote, he competes alongside Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) and Manolo González (RCD Espanyol). The voting period closes on Sunday, April 20th, at 11:59 p.m.
Mamardashvili has been selected for Player of the Month and Best Save. The Georgian goalkeeper put in a stellar performance against Real Madrid, making eight saves, including a penalty from Vinícius Jr. He also kept a clean sheet against Sevilla FC. In addition, he was selected for FC25's Team of the Week during April.
In the Player of the Month award voting, he is up against Pedri (FC Barcelona), Javi Puado (RCD Espanyol), Sergi Darder (RCD Mallorca), and Julián Álvarez (Atlético de Madrid). In the Best Save category, Nyland (Sevilla FC) and Greif (RCD Mallorca) are his adversaries. The voting period closes on Sunday, April 20th, at 11:59 p.m.
Tárrega is nominated for Best Under-23 Footballer. The defender has been one of the standout performers this season in LaLiga. His showings have earned him a first call-up to the Spanish Under-21 national team.
In this vote, he joins Roberto (RCD Espanyol), Fabio Silva (UD Las Palmas), Barry (Villarreal CF), and Giuliano Simeone (Atlético de Madrid). Voting closes on Sunday, April 20th, at 11:59 p.m.
