Diego Lopez, Javi Guerra and Cristhian Mosquera lead Spain U21s in qualifying for the 2025 European Championship
Valencia CF players Diego López, Javi Guerra and Cristhian Mosquera have qualified with Spain U21 for the European Championship of the category to be played in Slovakia in 2025.
Spain defeated Hungary by 0 goals to 1 and have certified their place for the 2025 European Championship. Diego López was a starter, playing all the minutes of the match; and Javi Guerra played 30 minutes of the match.
'La Rojita' is in first place in group 'B' with the 22 points obtained after 7 wins and 1 draw in the 8 matches played so far. The Spanish U-21 team is the team that has scored the most goals in the group (18) and has conceded the fewest goals (2). There are still two matches to be played (against Kazakhstan and Malta, respectively) during the month of October.
This qualification of Spain for the European Championship 2025, means being in the eighth European Championship of the last nine, being this the fifth consecutive participation in the continental tournament.
