Copete: "We have to stay focused on daily improvement"

Valencia CF defender José Copete talked to VCF Media in Germany, after the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“I think the team have to keep improving. We've done some good things today. I think the team have improved and we have to keep fine-tuning the details. The league season is almost upon us, and we have to stay focused on making daily improvement and trying to be at our best for the first game."

His unofficial debut

“I'm very happy. I was really looking forward to this moment. It's never nice to start with a defeat, but I want to focus on the positives, on the work I've seen from us during these first few days with the team -who are magnificent. I think we'll continue in the same way and, as I said before, try to correct the mistakes as soon as possible.”

Work with the team

“I think the reception from my teammates these first few days has been wonderful. I've encountered a really healthy group, who are eager to work. I think that's very good for us if we want to have a great season.”
