Review the careers of these three goalscorers
Valencia CF will face RCD Mallorca next Tuesday, April 21st at 19:00 at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in the match corresponding to matchday 33 of LaLiga EA Sports 25-26. Some of the forwards who stood out at both clubs were Aritz Aduriz, Javier Arizmendi and Juan Sánchez.
Firstly, Aritz Aduriz is synonymous with goals in LaLiga. Proof of this are the two Zarra Trophies (top Spanish scorer of the season) he won (2014-15/2015-16). This great scoring ability led him to be called up by the Spanish National Team to play a qualifying match for UEFA Euro 2012 against Lithuania and even take part in UEFA Euro 2016.
The San Sebastián-born striker joined Valencia CF in the summer of 2010 after his spell at RCD Mallorca (2008-2010), where he scored 23 goals in 69 matches. He wore the Valencia CF jersey for 2 seasons (2010-11/2011-12), scoring 29 goals and providing 6 assists in 99 appearances.
Secondly, Javier Arizmendi joined Valencia CF in the summer of 2007 from Deportivo de la Coruña. The Madrid-born striker wore the Valencia CF shirt for 2 seasons (2007/08-2008/09). At the Balearic side, he competed for one season (2012-2013), on loan from Getafe CF.
Finally, Juan Sánchez came through the VCF Academy, reached the first team in the 1992-93 season and, after two spells wearing the Valencia CF jersey, made history by winning 4 titles: Super Cup (1999-2000), LaLiga (2001-02), LaLiga (2003-04) and UEFA Cup (2003-04). At RCD Mallorca he played on loan during the 1993-94 season.
After retiring as a player, he has also remained linked to Valencia CF as a technical secretary and within the VCF Academy scouting structure.
