Javi Guerra, Anita Marcos, and Phoe Browne personally congratulated the participants of Escoles CB, a sports-education initiative by the VCF Foundation now celebrating its 10th anniversary
The Valencia CF training ground has hosted a new edition of the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre Tournament, featuring teams from four schools participating in this educational and values-driven sports project, which is celebrating its 10th edition in the 2024–25 season.
The participating schools were CEIP Padre Manjón (La Torre, Valencia), CEIP L'Horta (Paiporta), CEIP Juan XXIII (Torrent), and CEIP Fernando de los Ríos (Burjassot). The first three schools have been significantly affected by the DANA floods. A total of 56 students representing the Escoles CB teams gathered at the Ciutat Esportiva for the tournament.
For all the students, this tournament was a reward for their effort and behavior, but their excitement grew even more with the surprise visit from first team player Javi Guerra and first team women's players Anita Marcos and Phoe Browne. They were also joined by Inma Ibáñez, director of the VCF Foundation, who emphasized the importance of continuing to instill values and strengthen community bonds through sport.
