Jesús Vázquez inspires the boys and girls at the Valencia CF Summer Camp
The Valencia CF left-back, who recently renewed his contract, reminded the kids that he too once took part in the club’s Summer Camps.
Jesús Vázquez has been part of Valencia CF for over 15 years, a lifetime in black and white. And that number will only grow, as he recently extended his contract with the Club until 2028.

He joined the VCF Academy when he was just five years old and, as a child, spent three summers enjoying the Valencia CF Summer Camp. That’s exactly what he recalled to the 200 kids attending the third session of this summer’s edition, which once again filled the Ciudad Deportiva with excitement and energy.
Just like Dani Raba and Luis Rioja did in previous weeks, Jesús Vázquez greeted the kids one by one as they formed a long tunnel, hands outstretched to high-five their idol. “I’m never washing this hand again,” said one of the kids, full of emotion.
After the greetings, Jesús shared a few inspiring words: “I hope you're having a great time, just like I did when I took part in the Valencia CF Summer Camp three years in a row as a kid. Hopefully, one day, one of you will be playing with us in the first team.”
And of course, the big family photo to wrap things up, a memory the campers will cherish forever during this penultimate week of a Valencia CF Summer Camp that continues to grow stronger with every edition.
