Valencia CF complete their VCF Camps in Argentina successfully

Valencia CF have successfully completed the different VCF Camps they had scheduled this past January in Argentina, coinciding with the summer holidays in this South American country so closely linked to the history of Valencia CF.

Bariloche, Pilar, Cañuelas and Mar de Plata hosted these VCF Camps, in which around 200 children aged between 5 and 16 took part and enjoyed football at these VCF Camps developed by Valencia CF in collaboration with Nitidia Sport.

Football, fun and valencianismo went hand in hand in these 4 VCF Camps, which expanded on last summer’s initial experience with great acceptance in a country with such a strong football tradition and which is currently the reigning World Champion.

The children enjoyed and learned alongside the coaches from the VCF Academy, who travelled to each location to share the VCF Academy’s working methodology, a European benchmark in player development for elite competition according to the latest CIES Football Observatory reports.

“It has been a very positive experience on a human, sporting and personal level,” explain Jordi Burdeus and José Joaquín Giménez, VCF Academy coaches who travelled to these VCF Camps.

“It has been very rewarding to see so many children eager to learn, with that passion for football and that interest in Valencia CF, as well as the involvement of families who strongly identified with the values of the VCF Academy Philosophy: Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor,” they note. “We hope Valencia CF can repeat it in the coming seasons,” they conclude.

A selection of participants from these VCF Camps Argentina will have the opportunity to travel to Valencia to take part in a Training Experience at the Valencia CF Ciudad Deportiva and visit Mestalla, the stadium with the most history in LALIGA.

The VCF Camps that Valencia CF run across America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Oceania are part of the VCF Academy Programs and, together with the different VCF Academies across America, Asia and Europe, the Training Experiences at the Valencia CF Ciudad Deportiva and many other initiatives, help extend the Club’s brand image.

Each season, more than 5,000 children from over 50 countries take part in some of the activities that make up the VCF Academy Programs.
