Correia: "These draws at home feel like missed opportunities"
The fullback reflects on a 1-1 draw
Thierry Correia talked about the game against RCD Mallorca after providing the assist for the equaliser.
Analysing the game
From the start of the match we tried to score a goal to take the lead, but they scored from a set piece. We dominated the entire game and were trying to win, but it wasn't possible.
Lacking luck
I think we lacked a bit of luck. Luck is something that comes with work, and we worked hard to get the win. We had two clear chances: One from José (Gayà) and another from Lucas (Beltrán), but we couldn't make it 2-1. We were all over them the whole game trying to win, but it wasn't possible, and we have to keep working.
Chasing the win
These two draws at home feel like a missed opportunity, because we were better than our opponents, but we have to keep working.
Helping the team with an assist
I'm happy to be able to help the team. I'm not at my best yet, because I have a lot to improve, and little by little, with confidence, I'll reach my full potential.
