Countdown begins for a record-breaking VCF Academy World Cup  

The fourth edition of this global U12 event—launched in 2021—continues its growth, and 2025 will set a new record with 14 teams and over 200 players participating from across the club’s academy network.

From June 26 to 29, the Ciutat Esportiva of Valencia CF will once again become the epicenter of valencianismo, welcoming young players from across the globe who share a common Sentiment and training philosophy through the VCF Academy Programs.

Canada, Jordan, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Belgium are just some of the countries represented in the 4th VCF Academy World Cup — a tournament that will once again turn the Ciutat Esportiva of Valencia CF into a vibrant, multicultural hub.

The 4th VCF Academy World Cup features a top-class ambassador: Valencia CF forward Diego López, who recently encouraged the young participants to enjoy every moment of the tournament. With 8 goals and 5 assists so far this LaLiga season, Diego López follows in the footsteps of previous ambassadors Hugo Guillamón, Javi Guerra, and Yunus Musah — continuing the tradition of inspiring the next generation of talent.

The challenge for this 4th Valencia CF Academy World Cup is to maintain the high level of satisfaction among players, coaches, families, and accompanying guests who have taken part in previous editions of a tournament now firmly established in the VCF Academy Programs calendar.

The VCF Academy World Cup is part of the VCF Academy Programs, which—together with the various VCF Academies across America, Asia, and Europe, the VCF Camps held around the world, the Training Experiences at the Ciutat Esportiva, and many other initiatives—help expand the Valencia CF brand globally.

Each season, more than 5,000 children from over 50 countries take part in one of the many activities that make up the VCF Academy Programs.
