Towards the end of the first half, VCF Femenino's best opportunity to extend the lead came when captain Marta Carro shot over the crossbar, but the team held the 1-0 advantage going into the break.
Upon the restart, an hour into the contest, VCF Femenino were awarded a penalty for handball inside the box. Carla Bautsita would convert from 11 metres to finally take the scoreline to 2-0.
SC Huelva pulled a goal back on 77 minutes thanks to Jennifer Morilla, but before the end a VCF Femenino counterattack allowed Carla Bautista to set up Candela for her ninth strike of the season, handing the 3-1 to the home team.
