Mikel Crespo, new coach of VCF Femenino
The Basque coach brings experience in women's football in Spain, having guided Deportivo Alavés to promotion to the top tier during the 2020-21 season
VCF Femenino and Dominika Čonč have reached an agreement for the player to join the club from AC Milan, through to June 30th, 2022.
The 28-year-old, born in Maribor (Slovenia) on January 1st, 1993, has played for the Italian club for the last two seasons.
Čonč is a box-to-box midfielder who is also a full international with Slovenia. She previously played for RCD Espanyol and Malaga CF in Spain, as well as Fortuna Hjorring, ZNK Maribor and ZNK Pomurje.
Dominika Čonč: “I am very happy and proud to return to Spain and sign for a club as big as Valencia CF, to be part of this project. I thank the club for the confidence shown in me, and the opportunity. The Spanish league is growing a lot, so it's going to be a very interesting season. I am keen to play and to win, and I'm going to do everything I can to help the team achieve its objectives."
