Pepe Claramunt receives honorary award from Ajuntament de Puçol for his legendary career at Valencia CF
Tendillo, Fernando Giner, Sempere and Payá were present at this event held within the framework of the ‘Año Claramunt’
Valencia CF closed the transfer market with six additions to the squad for the 2021/22 season. Omar Alderete, Marcos André, Dimitri Foulquier, Hugo Duro, Hélder Costa and the Giorgi Mamardashvili -the latter brought in originally to play for the VCF Academy-, are the new faces who have come in.
The club worked until the final minutes of the summer window to finalise the arrivals of Hugo Duro and Hélder Costa, from Getafe CF and Leeds United, respectively. A few hours earlier, the signing of Dimitri Foulquier, joining from Granada CF, had been completed.

Three players have already debuted for the club: Marcos André enjoyed his first minutes against Deportivo Alavés, coming on late in the game as a substitute. Alderete has been part of the starting lineup in the opening three LaLiga fixtures, as has Mamardashvili, as the pair have formed part of a defence that has conceded just one goal thus far.
