Valencia CF DI, the club run by the VCF Foundation and dedicated to enabling those with intellectual disabilities to play football, is changing it's name. The team will henceforth be known as Valencia CF Inclusivo.
Under the COR Blanquinegre programme, the VCF Foundation has worked with persons with intellectual disabilities since the 2011/12 season, with ever-increasing commitment to the project. They are one of the clubs participating in LaLiga Genuine.
Football is something to be played and enjoyed by everyone. VCF Inclusivo will continue to feature players with intellectual disabilities, but will also include, for example, young female players from the VCF Academy in specific training sessions and games. It is a way of transmitting self esteem, confidence and security, as well as the values shared by all at the club.
