The Valencia CF family show commitment to "Valencian Sport for ALS"

On November 3rd, the "Valencian Sport for ALS" campaign was presented at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. It's aim was to make November the month of visibility for people affected by ALS, and increase awareness and fundraising for the research of a disease which to date has no cure.
That event was attended by the director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, and player's from the men and women's first teams, Jaume Doménech and Berta Pujadas.
During November, ALS patients Fran Vivó and José Moratal were invited to the game between Valencia CF and Atletico Madrid and welcomed by the club president, Anil Murthy, ambassadors Miguel Ángel Bossio and Miguel Tendillo, organisational director, Salvador González “Voro”, and player Hugo Guillamón.
Likewise, the coaching staff and players greeted Fran Vivó in a training session at the Ciudad Deportiva, together with Joey Lim, executive director of the club, and Teo Swee Wei.
VCF Femenino and the VCF Academy also joined the campaign, and the starting XI posed making the 'X' gesture with their forearms -the sign of the campaign.
"Valencian Sport For ALS" is an initiative by the Luzón Foundation (www.deportexela.com) and the Group of Managers of Large Sports and Social Clubs.
