VCF Femenino were off to a perfect start putting themselves in front only four minutes into the first half through a Jansen goal. The Dutch striker latched onto a fine return ball from Asun who got to the by-line and rolled into the Dutch who stabbed it home to open the scoring.
VCF Femenino were dominating. However the opposition came close to equalising on 13 but Soldevila’s effort whistled over the bar.The contest evened out as time wore on.
Over the half-hour mark, VCF Femenino were in control again and minutes later Anna Torrodà came close to scoring in the closing stages of the first half that almost caught the opposition keeper out.
VCF Femenino edged RCD Espanyol by 1-0 at halftime.

José Bargues’side came out looking to dominate in the second half playing though the opposition’s defense and on 57 minutes, a powerful Asun left-footer came back off the crossbar.
Marta Carro doubled VCF Femenino’s advantage thwarting the opposition backline getting on the end of a Jansen smart pass to put VCF Femenino two goals to the good over the hour mark at the Puchades.
Former VCF Femenino Lombi Anaïr halved the deficit with thirteen minutes plus stoppage time left to play. The opposition kept on pushing for the equaliser but VCF managed the remainder of the game and held out to register a well-deserved all three points.
