VCF Femenino returned to Primera Iberdrola action following the international break. VCF Femenino took on FC Barcelona, on Saturday, 25th of September at 12 pm kick-off time at the Johan Cruyff stadium on Matchday 3 of Primera Iberdrola.
The hosts enjoyed possession right from the off while VCF Femenino were put on the back foot but being well-positioned at the back trying to stop the opposition forays into the box from going into the back of the net.
Oshoala made it 1-0 to the hosts on 24 minutes and minutes later, VCF Femenino conceded four goals an Alexia hat-trick and another one from Mariona which reflected a 5-0 scoreline going into the interval.
The sixth goal for the hosts came on 47 minutes, Oshoala grabbed a brace as the home side continued to dominate possession. Martens scored the seventh goal on 71 minutes, and Graham completed the scoreline on 84 minutes and the game finished 8-0 to FC Barcelona.
VCF Femenino must turn their attention to their back to back home games in midweek against Athletic Club and on Sunday, October 2nd against Sevilla FC.
