LaLiga Delegating Committee unanimously approves LaLiga Impulso

The final agreement with CVC will be presented to the 42 clubs at the LaLiga Assembly on December 10th

Following the mandate established in the assembly on August 12th, the 14 clubs that make up the LaLiga Delegating Committee have unanimously ratified their support for LaLiga Impulso, the strategic agreement reached with the CVC investment fund to promote the global growth of LaLiga and its clubs.

The LaLiga Impulso agreement, which was already unanimously approved this past August, has been reformulated to adapt it to the participation of 39 of the 42 LaLiga clubs that have adhered to it. This adjustment does not modify LaLiga's economic valuation, which remains at 24,250 million euros. Once approved by the Delegating Commission, the agreement will be presented for ratification at the Extraordinary Assembly called for December 10th.

Following this adaptation, LaLiga Impulso's investment plan represents an investment of 1,994 million euros, which will allow participating clubs the necessary resources to undertake growth and consolidation projects from a sporting and business perspective. LaLiga, as it was announced at the time, will keep competition organisation and management of the commercialisation of audiovisual rights.

The new formulation guarantees the absence of impact on non-participating clubs. This injection of more than 1,990 million euros commits the clubs to allocate up to 70% of resources to investments related to infrastructure, international development, brand and product development, communications strategy, innovation and technology, and content development planning for digital platforms and social networks, with up to an additional 15% for the registration of players and the other 15% for covering financial debt.
