The Champions League carries over into February for Valencia CF, and their participation in the Last 16 of the competition has attracted plenty of interest from fans. Close to 2,000 tickets have been sold to Valencianistas for the club's away game against Atalanta -the first leg of the tie-which takes place on February 19th (9pm CET).
The game will give fans a chance to take in an emblematic stadium to boot, as Atalanta have been playing their home fixtures in the Giuseppe Meazza -AKA San Siro- due to its larger capacity and more suitable facilities for Champions League football.
A total of 1,500 fans travelled to Amsterdam for the Group Stage game against Ajax, in which VCF took the win against last season's finalists and qualified as group winners. More tickets have already been sold for the Last 16 game.
The first phase for ticket bookings was for season ticket holders, running from December 23rd-26th of 2019. The second phase, open since December 27th and until February 10th at 11:59pm (or until all are sold), puts tickets on sale to the general public.
