This document takes into account the number of players used in the last 3 years, the ages of the players (percentage of minutes played in the current season by those aged 31 or over, excluding goalkeepers) and the contract policy (percentage of minutes in the current campaign by players whose contracts expire in 2025 at the latest). The Valencia squad have a continuity rate (average of the above variables) of 84.9%.
It is worth noting that Valencia have recently entered the top 5 clubs in the 5 major leagues that have used the most players from their youth academy (34%) in the last year and the youngest team on the pitch.
