Today, Valencia CF and Valencia CF Femenino made the traditional visit to the Lady of the Forsaken.
In the week leading up to the 52nd edition of the Trofeu Taronja curtain-raiser against Eintracht Frankfurt, the men's and women's first team squads made the floral offering to the Lady of the Forsaken the, patron saint of the city of Valencia.
José Luis Gayà and Marta Carro were in charge of laying flowers at the feet of the Lady of the Forsaken in an emotional act that was attended by the president of Valencia CF, Layhoon Chan, and the Club's corporate director, Javier Solís.
The vice-rector of The Lady of the Forsaken Royal Basilica and Valencia CF chaplain, Don Álvaro Almenar, made this offering official on the occasion of the start of the season and wished the best of luck to both squads for the 2024-25 season.
