Valencia CF and Fundació VCF's social project, dedicated to combating all forms of discrimination, enters its second season
Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation continue their mission to raise awareness and fight discrimination of all kinds—whether it be racism, bullying, or homophobia—through the VCF World – Zero Discrimination initiative. This socially-driven project, launched at the start of the 2023-24 season to educate, prevent, and take action, is now in its second year. Over the coming months, the Club and VCF Foundation will intensify their efforts through activities, events, and content that highlight and promote these values.
Throughout its first season, under the banner of VCF World – Zero Discrimination, Valencia CF and VCF Foundation organized various initiatives that reflect this strong anti-discrimination stance, represented by a flag that proudly waves in the highest section of our stadium.
The 2023-24 season began at Mestalla with a ten-point value manifesto, relevant both within and beyond the stadium. In the following months, VCF Academy players participated in an anti-racism workshop led by Mouctar Diakhaby, and numerous disadvantaged groups received support, including anti-bullying campaigns, Valencia’s Food Bank, and patients facing illnesses (cancer support, player visits to hospitals during Christmas, visibility for health associations, medical research, etc.). Support also extended to people in socially vulnerable situations (through the Escoles Cor Blanquinegre project and prison reintegration efforts) and to those impacted by catastrophic events, such as the severe fire in the Campanar neighborhood.
