Copete: “I come to Valencia CF with a great desire to work hard and show who I am”

The Andalusian defender during his presentation as a Valencia CF player
Valencia CF’s new defender, José Copete, appeared this Wednesday before the media on the occasion of his signing for the club. A special event also marked by the presence of Valencia CF legend and ambassador Ricardo Arias, and a message from another former player of the Club, David Navarro.
Goal
“The goal is always to grow little by little, try to do my best, finish as high as possible by working hard every day and setting ourselves small targets each day. I’m sure that way we’ll achieve great things together. From matchday one we have to treat it like a final, those are the first three points, and based on that I’m sure that by the end of the season we’ll be up there and will achieve big things.”
Arribal at Valencia CF
“The history of Valencia CF has always been there. I place a lot of importance on the daily work ethic, that’s the foundation for achieving what we all want: for Valencia CF to be as high as possible. I’ve only been here a couple of days and I can already feel and know the level of demand this Club has, which is only right, and from there, it’s all about giving everything day by day. I come with a great desire to work and to show who I am. I’m very proud to be part of Valencia CF and I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
Corberán
“I’ve spoken to everyone. The whole Club has shown confidence in me and I really appreciate it. I prioritised coming to Valencia CF above everything else. I’m going to work harder than anyone, give everything I’ve got, and I’m fully available for the coach and the Club.”

Position on the pitch
“I feel comfortable in both systems. I’m here for whatever the coach needs and ready for whatever he decides.”
Teammates
“You can already feel that it’s a good atmosphere, that’s fundamental for the day-to-day and for setting our goals. We have to work and push ourselves to the level the Club demands.”
Attributes
“I come full of motivation and excitement. I’m an aggressive centre-back who likes one-on-ones, I’m also comfortable on the ball, and I’ll try to adapt as best as I can to what the coach asks of me.”
