Beltrán: “I’m very happy to be here. Valencia CF is one of the biggest clubs in Spain”
First words from Valencia CF’s new forward
Lucas Beltrán is now a Valencia CF player and shared his first words in this interview with VCF Media, where he talks about his qualities as a footballer and his desire to play at Mestalla.
Arrival at Valencia CF
“I’m very happy to be here in Valencia, getting to know the Ciudad Deportiva, the staff… I’m very happy.”
Corberán
“I spoke with him last night, he told me about his ideas, the objectives for this season, and I immediately made myself available to him and the team.”
Qualities
“I’m a very demanding person and player. I like to take care of every detail and I’m always trying to improve. As a footballer, I ‘give a hand’ to the team when we don’t have the ball, and that’s one of my strengths: trying to recover the ball as quickly as possible so we can have it. I like attacking the space, dropping deep to play with the ball at my feet…”
Team
“The team is doing well. I watched the match against Getafe CF and I thought they played very well. No match or competition is easy, but with unity and everyone working together, we can achieve beautiful things.”
Former Valencia CF players at River Plate
“I played with Enzo Pérez, Bruno Zuculini, and Otamendi was also here. I know Valencia CF and I know it’s one of the biggest clubs in Spain.”
Mestalla
“I’m really looking forward to the match so I can meet all the fans. I’ve been told the atmosphere is intense and I can’t wait to experience it. From the stands, they can help us a lot. That desire and winning attitude are so important, and I hope it’s a beautiful year for everyone and that they support us throughout the season. The best way to represent the fans is to give everything on the pitch.”
