6.000 Valencia CF fans attend the open training session
A morning marked by unity and the fans’ support for the team
Valencia CF held a new training session on the morning of Monday, 29 December, following the Christmas break, and did so in the company of 6.000 valencianistas at Mestalla.
During the session, the team carried out several activation drills, collective exercises and training matches, although the real protagonists were the fans, who once again showed their affection and support for the valencianista side ahead of the second part of the season.
Prior to the start of the session, Valencia CF captain José Luis Gayà addressed a few words to the fans in attendance.
“Whenever we hold an open training session, the fans always respond, as they always do. Looking ahead to this year, we will try to start with a win against RC Celta de Vigo and we hope to have a better year and give victories to the fans, who are always with us and deserve it, and we are going to fight to make that happen,” said the player from Pedreguer.
At the end of the session, Valencia CF head coach Carlos Corberán also wanted to thank the supporters. “It is a joy to see this feeling. For us, from the heart, you are the best we have, the reason why we fight, and hopefully in this new year we can give you the joy you deserve,” said the coach from Cheste.
In addition, the entire squad approached the stands to sign autographs, take photos and hand out balls to the more than five thousand attendees.
