Valencia CF will face Ourense FC in the Copa del Rey round of 16

Valencia CF will face Ourense CF in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey 2024-25 for the first time in its history. The draw was made this Wednesday morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. The match will be a single game, between January 14-15-16, in O Couto.
VCF makes this round after beating CP Parla Escuela-Fair Play in the first round of the Cup, SD Ejea in the second round and CD Eldense in the round of 32. The Club, throughout its history, has won this Copa del Rey trophy 8 times: 1941, 1949, 1954, 1967, 1979, 1999, 2008 and 2019.
Ourense CF, belonging to Group 1 of the First RFEF, appear in these round of 16 of the Cup after beating Real Valladolid CF in the round of 32. In the league, the Galician team is in the second to last place in the standings with 18 points from 18 matches played.
