Nearly 80 children took part in the first edition held in Adelaide.
This July, the first edition of the VCF Camps took place in Adelaide, Australia. These camps are being held this summer in various locations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia — and now, for the first time, in Oceania as well.

Nearly 80 boys and girls enjoyed football at the two VCF Camps held in July, with the presence of Valencia CF Academy coaches Jordi Seguí and Miquel Belmonte. The camps offered participants the chance to learn more about the VCF Academy methodology, ranked as the fourth-best in Europe for developing players to compete at the elite level, according to the CIES Football Observatory.

“The experience in Adelaide has been incredible,” says Miquel Belmonte. “Both the players and everyone involved welcomed us warmly, with kindness and generosity.”
“From the very first day, they were enthusiastic about the training sessions, showing a high level of football ability as well as a strong desire to learn. That gave us a clear sense of their great potential for development,” Miquel explains about this VCF Camp Adelaide, which was organized in collaboration with MRFootball.

"These two weeks at the VCF Camp Adelaide have been truly special. Over 70 young players trained with passion, energy, and a genuine love for the game," says Mitchell Nicholson from MRFootball.

"Having Jordi and Miquel here from Spain—two top-level coaches who brought with them the values and methodology of the VCF Academy—has been a privilege. Their influence on the players has been truly inspiring," concludes Nicholson, who is already looking ahead. "We’re excited for what the future holds."

With these VCF Camps in Australia, Valencia CF expands its global outreach, building on similar camps already held in various countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. It also strengthens its ties with Oceania, where in recent seasons, several groups from New Zealand and Australia have participated in Training Experiences at Valencia CF’s Ciutat Esportiva.

The VCF Camps that Valencia CF holds in various locations across the Americas, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania are part of the VCF Academy Programs. Alongside the different VCF Academies established in the Americas, Asia, and Europe, the Training Experiences at Valencia CF’s Ciutat Esportiva, and many other initiatives, these programs help to expand and strengthen the club’s brand image worldwide.

Each season, more than 5,000 children from over 50 countries take part in one of the many activities that make up the VCF Academy Programs.
