On the afternoon of this Thursday, April 23, 2026 -International Book Day-, the biographical book of the Valencia CF legend was presented at the ‘Estadi Pepe Claramunt’ in Puçol. During this ‘Claramunt Year’, tribute is paid to the former Valencia CF footballer in recognition of his great legacy at the Club.

He wore the Valencia CF jersey for twelve seasons, making nearly 450 appearances and scoring 90 goals, as well as winning the Copa in 1967 and the spectacular league title in the 1970-71 season.
At international level, he made his debut for the Spain senior national team at just 22 years old, and such was his level that he became the first Valencian captain of ‘La Roja’. He played 23 matches and scored 4 goals.
