The Valencia CF squad enjoyed a unique experience this midday, watching the traditional Mascletà from the front row. Every day in March until Saint Joseph's Day, (19th March) it is fired at 14:00 at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
The Club’s General Director - Javier Solís - travelled to City Hall, along with the CEO of Football - Ron Gourlay - as well as the men’s first-team squad, led by Carlos Corberán. Before the mascletà they greeted and presented a personalised jersey to the Mayor of Valencia, María José Catalá, the Fallera Mayor, Carmen Prades, and the Fallera Mayor Infantil, Marta Mercader, in addition to posing with the Court of Honour.
After the protocol events, the awaited mascletà began. Once the event finished, the team returned to the Ciudad Deportiva in Paterna.
