Valencia CF and the VCF Footballers' Association have reached an agreement to renew their longstanding collaboration agreement for the current season.
Through this agreement, the club will continue to contribute to helping those players who have represented Valencia CF and who, after retiring from football, are in need of help of some kind.
The VCF Footballers' Association was founded in 1996, and in addition to its founding objectives, which impact hundreds of footballers every year, it carries out numerous social initiatives that Valencia CF will continue to support through this joint work, run with the assistance of VCF Footballers' Association president Fernando Giner.
The main actions include the Reminiscence Programme (workshops aimed at people with cognitive impairment), visits to older legends to learn about their health and needs first-hand, the organisation of charity matches, the holding of historical exhibitions, the preservation of memories of historic players, the promotion of women's football at grassroots level and a wheelchair football school.
