Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Ipswich Town FC for the signing of Kayne van Oevelen.
The 23-year-old Dutch goalkeeper joins on loan for the current season and will strengthen competition in the position.
Having come through the AFC Amsterdam academy, he joined FC Volendam at the age of 17, helping the club earn promotion to the Eredivisie in the 2024/25 season. He made a total of 64 appearances before making the move this summer to the Premier League club.
Since establishing himself in the elite, his strong development has seen him emerge as one of the goalkeepers with the highest save percentages across Europe’s top leagues.
The new Valencia CF goalkeeper stands out for his reflexes, aerial ability, height (1.99 metres), composure and reliability with the ball at his feet.
