Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the extension of Javi Guerra's contract for the next four seasons, through to June 2029.
The young midfielder, one of the most outstanding talents of his generation, extends his contract with a renewal that demonstrates Valencia CF firm commitment to his development, as well as the player's desire to continue growing alongside the club.
It also consolidates his identification with this new stage of the project, and a commitment to continuing to take steps forward as an emblematic player who is both Valencian and a homegrown VCF Academy product.
Throughout his 89 appearances with the first team to date, Javi Guerra has demonstrated the potential and ambition necessary to become one of the key players in midfield, providing vision, playmaking ability, and a capability to break into the opposition penalty area.
Joining the VCF Academy in 2019, he has made significant progress since his debut in January 2022 against CD Atlético Baleares in the Copa del Rey, almost immediately attracting attention as a difference maker.
At 22 years old, Guerra is a key asset for Valencia CF -where he will continue his development under the direction of coach Carlos Corberán -as well as for the Spain U-21 national team, with whom he has already played 21 matches, including a prominent role in the European Championship.
