New canvas at Mestalla with anti-racism and anti-discrimination message

Valencia CF, PUMA and LALIGA make a declaration of values at the stadium
Valencia CF, PUMA and LALIGA have devised a banner to display a clear stance against racism and discrimination in all forms, with the slogan: ‘Lluita per a defendre en totes bandes TOTS els colors’ (‘Fight to defend ALL colours, everywhere’).
From Thursday, March 21st, this phrase presides over a new large canvas located between Avenida de Suecia and the Gol Norte stand at Mestalla. It is a statement of the values that have accompanied Valencia CF and its fanbase for 105 years, showing support, admiration and respect for players and coaches of all races and nationalities.
Over the last few months, Valencia CF have assumed an awareness-raising role by launching VCF World – ZERO DISCRIMINATION, a social project that brings together all the initiatives carried out by the club and the VCF Foundation to prevent, educate and act against any form of abuse and discrimination. A decalogue has also been drawn up to explicitly state Valencia CF’s stance and values.
This new banner bears the logo of the VCF awareness campaign, along with that of PUMA and LALIGA VS - the communications platform created by LALIGA and clubs to champion different initiatives and projects to eradicate hate inside and outside football stadiums.
