Match Report: Valencia CF win 1-0 against CA Osasuna
A Ramazani penalty decides the game at Mestalla
Valencia CF claimed an important 1-0 win over CA Osasuna on LaLiga Matchday 26, as Largie Ramazani scored the only goal of the game.
The game began with great intensity from Valencia CF, who created the opening chances. They controlled possession, with Guido Rodriguez and Javi Guerra orchestrating the attack, and an electric Ramazani up front, constantly looking for openings to break through the opposition defence. Valencia CF created numerous opportunities, but could not manage to convert them.
In the 28th minute, Ramazani entered the Osasuna penalty area and unleashed a powerful low shot, blocked by a CA Osasuna defender who slid in. However, no penalty was given when it appeared to have hit the opposition player’s arm.
Valencia CF searched for a goal before halftime, but the first period of play ended 0-0.

Five minutes into the second half, Valencia CF mounted a dangerous attack after stealing the ball inside the Osasuna penalty area, but Rioja couldn't get a shot off. Moments later, the Andalusian striker finished another move, but his effort missed the target. Shortly after, Arnaut Danjuma was brought into the game.
Controlling play, winning several corners and mounting attacks, Valencia CF got their reward, as Umar Sadiq won a penalty after being brought down by Herrera in a one-on-one. Ramazani converted the spot kick to make it 0-1.
Carlos Corberán’s men remained solid and kept a clean sheet to secure the victory at Mestalla.
Valencia CF will host Deportivo Alavés at home on Sunday, March 8th at 9pm.
