VCF Camps Holland participants experienced a very special meetup with the Valencia CF players.
Last Saturday was a very special day for the children of VCF Camps Holland. Some of the participants in the Valencia CF camps in this region of the Netherlands had the opportunity to see the Valencia CF men's first team live in their pre-season match against PSV Eindhoven, a match that closed a day they will hardly forget.
Taking advantage of the visit to the Netherlands, the Valencia CF players had a nice pre-match meeting with the children of VCF Camps Holland at the team hotel. It was a very emotional moment for these youngsters, who are living their passion for Valencia CF in the Tulip country in a very special way.
Undoubtedly, it is a day to remember for the participants in these camps that fill the Netherlands and Belgium with passion for Valencia CF, and which have a very high footballing quality as they recently showcased at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna during the III VCF Academy World Cup.
‘Being here is wonderful and being able to meet the players is a magical moment for them,’ said Jorrick Lammers, head of VCF Camps, which has grown from 5 at the beginning 11 seasons ago to almost 25 today between the Dutch and Benelux regions.
Knowing that they were going to meet their idols made the children's nerves run high, as Roquen Ceder acknowledged: ‘It was exciting, I was shaking, I had even dreamt about that moment.
