Valencia CF player Javi Guerra has been included in the senior Spain national football team squad as a support player during the first week of ‘La Roja’s’ training camp, ahead of two friendly matches — against Iraq national football team and Peru national football team — and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The training period will run from Saturday, May 30 at 5:00 PM until Thursday, June 4. The Valencia midfielder will be able to play against Iraq.
This first senior call-up for the midfielder from Gilet marks another important step in his career after playing a key role at the previous UEFA European Under-21 Championship and training with the senior national team in June 2025.
