From China to Valencia CF’s Ciudad Deportiva to learn more about Spanish football and LaLiga

Valencia CF has received this week the visit of a delegation of coaches from the Chinese Football Association who, together with LaLiga, wanted to learn more about how Spanish football and the Valencia CF Academy work.

Over three days, the 15 members of the Chinese Football Association delegation had the opportunity to visit Mestalla, the most historic stadium in LaLiga, and take part in a complete training programme with the VCF Academy coaches at Valencia CF’s Ciudad Deportiva, the fourth-best academy in Europe in developing players for elite competition (+INFO).

The representatives of the Chinese Football Association -directors of academies from professional clubs in the first and second divisions of China, as well as coaches from different regional federations- were able to watch VCF Academy team training sessions and take part in various workshops about the structure, playing philosophy, and training methodology of the VCF Academy.

Valencia CF maintains a strong link with Chinese football through the various VCF Camps held in recent years in Beijing, as well as the Training Experience programmes that have brought players from different Chinese clubs to Valencia CF’s Ciudad Deportiva.

In addition, Valencia CF has a strong presence in Asian football through its VCF Academies: VCF Academy Wakayama in Japan and VCF Academy Seoul in South Korea.  

These Coaching Clinics and educational visits to the VCF Academy are part of the VCF Academy Programs, through which Valencia CF aims to expand its brand image and methodology, also through the VCF Academies that the Club has in America, Asia, and Europe, as well as through VCF Camps, VCF Training Experience, and other initiatives that promote the VCF Academy’s way of working.
