Justin de Haas: Height, strength and composure for the Valencia CF defense

Justin de Haas (Zaandam, Netherlands, February 1, 2000) is officially a Valencia CF player. The Dutch defender arrives to reinforce the team's defence with his physical presence, aerial ability and excellent reading of the game.

2025-26 Season

The 25-year-old centre-back joins Valencia CF from FC Famalicão, where he made 33 appearances and scored six goals in Portugal's Liga Portugal Betclic during the 2025-26 season. He was also a key figure for the Portuguese side throughout both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns.

International Experience

Before impressing in Portugal, De Haas played for NK Lokomotiva in Croatia's HNL and for GNK Dinamo Zagreb II, gaining valuable experience in European football.

Development in the Netherlands

De Haas came through the youth academies of AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven. During four seasons with AZ, he made 67 appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He then spent two seasons with PSV, making 25 appearances, scoring twice and registering one assist.

Netherlands Youth International

Since 2016, De Haas has represented the Netherlands at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, making a total of 13 appearances for his country.
