On the afternoon of Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, Jordi Alba announced that he will retire from professional football at the end of the current season. The current Inter Miami CF player leaves the sport after an outstanding career and a decorated record with more than 20 titles won.
The Catalan full-back arrived in the capital of Turia at just 18 years old with many dreams to fulfil. He did not take long to achieve the first one as a professional with Valencia CF.
