The legend and current Valencia CF coach will face his former team in the fifth matchday of LALIGA EA SPORTS 24-25.
Valencia CF will face Atlético de Madrid this coming Sunday, September 15 at 21:00 at the Cívitas Metropolitano. Both clubs have shared numerous players throughout history. On this occasion, the Valencian legend and current coach Rubén Baraja stands out.
Rubén Baraja is one of our most famous and illustrious idols. During his career as a player (2000-2010), he won two Leagues, a UEFA Cup, a European Super Cup and a King's Cup. His time as coach of the Valencianista first team began in February 2023, instilling competitive values such as ambition, demand, personality and team identity on a daily basis.
Prior to his time as a Valencianista player, he competed for three seasons (1996-1999) with the Atlético de Madrid reserve team, until he made his debut with the 'rojiblanco' first team in the 1999-2000 season. At the end of that season, he signed for Valencia CF. Baraja has also had experience as a coach in the 'colchonero' team. In 2011 he joined Gregorio Manzano's coaching staff as an assistant.
