VCF Mestalla to participate in Premier League International Cup

In addition to competing in Grupo III of the Segunda Federación, after achieving promotion last season, VCF Mestalla will also participate in the Premier League International Cup in 2022/23. A prestigious competition organised by the Premier League for players under 23 years of age, it returns after an enforced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VCF Mestalla will test their skills in a competition in which 12 Premier League teams will participate, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as 12 clubs from other countries, such as: FC Porto and SC Braga from Portugal, VLF Wolfsburg and Hertha BSC from Germany, Paris Saint Germain from France, and PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord from the Netherlands. VCF Mestalla are the only representatives from Spain.
The team coached by Miguel Ángel Angulo are part of Group A and will debut in the competition against Fulham at Craven Cottage, on October 5th at 7pm local time.

October 5th: Fulham FC vs. VCF Mestalla
November 9th: Leicester City FC vs. VCF Mestalla
December 12th: Wolverhampton Wanderers FC vs. VCF Mestalla
November 1st Blackburn Rovers FC vs. VCF Mestalla
The top six in the group, plus the two best runners-up, will qualify for the quarterfinals, which will be played in single-legged ties in England.
