VCF Mestalla to debut in Premier League International Cup
VCF Mestalla face the first game of the Premier League International Cup this Wednesday, travelling to London to play against Fulham FC in the Under-23s competition that brings together 12 Premier League teams and 12 teams from other countries.

The match kicks off at 7pm local time at Craven Cottage, one of the most historic stadiums in England and where Fulham play their Premier League matches.

"We are very excited because this is a competition that attracts us," explains VCF Mestalla coach Miguel Ángel Angulo.
“We are going to face English sides with great talent and with good academies. In addition, it will be a good time to also look at other players who are not getting the minutes they deserve. We are going there with a tremendous amount of excitement to have a good game and a good group stage."

In addition to competing in Grupo III of the Segunda Federación, after achieving promotion last season, VCF Mestalla will also participate in the Premier League International Cup in 2022/23. A prestigious competition organised by the Premier League for players under 23 years of age, it returns after an enforced break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VCF Mestalla will test their skills in a competition in which 12 Premier League teams will participate, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as 12 clubs from other countries, such as: FC Porto and SC Braga from Portugal, VLF Wolfsburg and Hertha BSC from Germany, Paris Saint Germain from France, and PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord from the Netherlands. VCF Mestalla are the only representatives from Spain.
