www.valenciacf.com
VCF Mestalla will compete in Tercera División RFEFF 2021/2022 upon confirmation on Matchday 5 following results elsewhere which leave VCF Mestalla with no mathematical chances of a top-three finish in the second phase.
The b team could not string wins together to keep their safety options alive in the final run-in to fight for safety in the Segunda División.
The team put a shift in across all five fixtures collecting three slim losses and two draws, staying in the game and coming close to having better scorelines. They have showcased their virtues and their lack of effectiveness throughout the whole season which has prevented them from picking up more wins.
The RFEF has carried out a restructuring of Segunda B towards next season and thus the 102 sides that have made up the Segunda Division B will be distributed in three new divisions:
Each division will also be made up by other sides from other divisions. The sides relegated from la LaLiga SmartBank will be placed in Primera RFEF, the sides promoted from Tercera will be placed in Segunda RFEF and the relegated sides from Segunda B will be placed in Tercera RFEF.
The competition format, the group distribution and the schedule are yet to be confirmed by the RFEF.
