The VCF Foundation will receive a prize from the regional ONCE group for the blind next week in Elche, in the "Institution, Organisation, Entity and Charity' category. The 'Premio Solidario' award recognises the foundation's contribution to improving self esteem, communication, confidence, inclusion, respect, tolerance and other values amongst collectives at risk of social exclusion, doing so through sport.
For the 2019/20 season, the VCF Foundation will continue to strengthen its social and charitable responsibility in the Valencia region.
Increasing beneficiaries of the Escoles COR Blanquinegre project
Amongst the many charitable acts by the VCF Foundation, the number of beneficiaries of the Escoles COR Blanquinegre project will be increased. This initiative is aimed at teaching staff at several school centres, and focuses on young people in underprivileged neighbourhoods. This season, the project will be worked on at 50 schools, increasing the amount of beneficiaries by 1,000.
VCF Inclusivo: Football for everyone
Another of the projects is the VCF DI team, which this season changes name to VCF Inclusivo. This group, made up of persons with intellectual disabilities, will be reinforced in training sessions and games by players from the VCF Academy and VCF Femenino.
Spreading the spirit and heritage of Valencia CF
One of the missions of the VCF Foundation is to spread the spirit and heritage of the club, keeping alive the 100 years of history Valencia CF have and speaking to important figures, such as in the Fórum Algirós and expositions.
VCF Foundation training centre
Through this centre, top level education is offered to those interested in growing professionally and improving their Curriculum Vitae, thanks to the Valencia CF MBA Masters course and the extensive online programme.
